Remember you must use an opening statement, respond to the question(s), use correct grammar, and end with a conclusion. Spelling counts and you can use the back of the paper for more room.
1. Activity of Interest: Write a one-page (four paragraphs) report about the activity you are presently learning in physical education class, or about any other physical activity of interest. You must list sources of information, such as the name of the website, book, magazine, title, author and page numbers. Questions to consider answering include: What is the activity? Where can a person participate in the activity relative to Duanesburg? Does this activity cost money? What equipment is required? Etc. Please expand. Reports copied directly will not be accepted.
2. Article: Read a magazine or newspaper article about health, fitness, medicine, a sports figure or something happening in the sports world and then write a one-page (four paragraphs) opinion paper on the article. Be sure to include the article with your paper.
3. 15 Well Defined Words: Choose fifteen vocabulary words from a sport or physical activity, and define each word. Be sure to use a book written about the sport, as a dictionary may not have the correct meaning (Example: “love” in tennis means “zero”).
4. Sporting Event: Watch a sporting event such as a junior high, high school, college, or professional sport. Write a one page paper (four paragraphs) about the sporting event and include the following: type of sporting event, name of the team's, time the game started and ended, who won the game, and the final score.
